School Counseling

Last Updated: 1/2/2024 2:28 PM

The counselors are here to help students with their academic achievement, personal and social growth and career development while at Audubon Junior-Senior High School. Our goal for our students is that they become productive and well-adjusted adults. Our doors are always open! We believe that by working together with students and their families we can help students have the best school experience possible. Contact us anytime if we can be of assistance!

No matter where you are in the college search/application process, attending a college fair can help you to obtain valuable information. Admission Counselors from numerous colleges and universities will be available for you to ask questions about their programs, activities, application process, etc. College fairs are free and open to all. This is a fantastic way to learn a great deal without traveling too far.

Course Selection for 2023-2024

The Program of Studies is available by clicking on the link below.

2024-2025 Program of Studies

The Program of Studies will be made available to students and parents/guardians in January. Teachers of core subjects will recommend courses for students to take the following school year. These recommendations will be entered directly in Genesis. Counselors will meet individually with students to review recommendations and finalize courses for the following school year. If a student or a parent has a question about a recommendation, we advise that you contact the teacher first to discuss your concerns.

Please note that some courses have prerequisites. These requirements must be met in order for a student to be eligible to participate in any of these courses during the upcoming school year.

The following resources can also be helpful to students (and parents/guardians) as students select courses for the following school year:
