Memorial Day Weekend Update
Today, we are happy to announce that Green Wave Field can be used again by teams who have prior approval. Based on the Governor’s orders, passive field use is permitted, meaning that our teams can use the field for strength and conditioning, but it must be in groups of 25 or less. It also means the batting cages can be used but must be limited to only two players and two coaches at a time while wearing masks. We are grateful for the volunteers at Audubon Girls Softball who have been preparing for the eventual opening of the fields. This doesn’t allow for full practices yet, but we hope it will be allowed soon. We may revise this field opening after we review the full executive order.
This weekend we mark Memorial Day. We take time to remember those who made the greatest sacrifice for us. Though there will not be an in person Memorial Day Ceremony we urge you to join Murray Troutt American Legion Post 262 for their ceremony on Facebook Monday at 10 a.m. We also ask you to please take time to view the virtual commemoration created by AHS Project Memorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-argwwFiEj4&t=229s&fbclid=IwAR2bm5dBDb2ukNkhb0KSVbKKFPS0KGLrqm6WizueTNJuxx-7ba08T7quMUU
