Office of the Municipal Clerk

The Municipal Clerk attends all official Caucus and Commissioners’ Meetings and serves as secretary to the governing body, maintaining the official record of each proceeding. The Clerk is the custodian of all minutes, ordinances, and resolutions, and the Clerk’s Office is responsible for the preparation of agendas, minutes, ordinances, and resolutions for the Mayor and Commissioners.

This office provides public information and responds to requests for public records, formally known as OPRA requests. The Office of the Municipal Clerk is also the custodian of the Borough’s archival records and handles requests for information, permits, and vital records, including marriage, birth, and death certificates. In addition, the office processes requests for certified copies of vital records for events that occurred in the Borough of Audubon.

The Clerk’s Office is also responsible for administering all local elections, providing voter registration services, and serving as an information and reference center for the public.
